Wow what a fun game. Brilliant graphics and sound. A interesting story. Its very creepy and intense. I really liked that the main character is a guy instead of a women. Makes for a nice change of pace. Its also a very long game for a HOG. One of the reasons its long is because their is no fast travel to scenes. Their is a map but you cant just click on the location. You need to walk to every location.The only downside is it doesnt support hi resolution screen size. So you have put up with black bars on either side of the screen. The game does have a strategy guide. Thanks goodness because the Hint button sometimes just gets dumb and confused. I had to consult with the guide many times. The game does have extra stuff like wallpaper and concept art. Although the resolution is again very low. 1024 by 768. The other con is that some of the hidden object scenes the objects you need to find are hard to see because they blend in with the background color or they are very small. That was annoying.However the pros outweighs the cons by far. A great game if you like a good story and great graphics and again the sound is just wonderful. A big thumbs up from me.. Your a Mental patient, who is not sure what is going on and even the bonus lvl leaves you with ??.Love this kind of stories!Nice mixte between hidden objects and puzzles.Very fun to play.. Good music; good art; compelling storyline; logical puzzles - I enjoyed this very much. The hidden objects challenging without being frustrating, and at each stage, I was eager to find out what happened next. This game avoided the often-creepy side of horror mental hospital settings; the focus was on the angel/demon storyline rather than gore or psychological trauma. (There are bits of both, but they're background details.) However, the negative reviews all have valid points - there's no instant map travel, and many of the hidden object zones are repeated. I like that; I get more practice with what I didn't notice the first time, and I like the plot aspects of "oh, and last time you passed this cluttered corner, you failed to notice the screwdriver; this time, you'll pick that up." But those who find that frustrating are not going to like this game; some scenes are used three times.The pacing was a bit off - it started slow, and picked up and never slowed down, so the ending felt a bit rushed. But in my mind, the story was worth that, and the magic activation scenes (runes starting to glow, light filling a diagram, etc.) were lovely - flashy enough to be interesting, and quick enough that they didn't feel like a delay. I'd give this a rating of 7 out of 10: if it hits your buttons, it's awesome; if any of its flaws are big red flags for you, the awesome parts probably won't make up for that; if neither of those is true, it's probably an enjoyable game, but not one that's likely to become a favorite.. The Good: vast amount of cleverly designed point&click puzzles appealing visuals interesting story elementsThe Meh: there's a central location in the game that you are required to repeatedly go back to in order to "exchange" runic coins for important items; this trek back & forth gets more and more annoying the more locations you unlock the music is rather bland and it doesn't take long for the short and constantly looping tracks to become somewhat grating The Ugly: nothing; I didn't experience any major issues, neither technical, nor otherwiseOverall:Sacra Terra: Angelic Night was a very pleasant surprise for me. The generic title had me prepared for a mediocre experience, but it actually turned out to be one of the more entertaining Hidden Object games I've played. This may be because I usually enjoy the point&click aspect more than the actual Hidden Object screens, and this is exactly where Sacra Terra shines. The locations are fun to sift through for useful items, the actual item combination puzzles are consistently well-designed and mostly perfectly logical, and the sheer volume of them is quite impressive too. I also ended up enjoying the story quite a bit. The main character is meant to banish seven demons that have taken the form of the Seven Deadly Sins, and he does so pretty creatively (the "Lust Demon" is banished by summoning a succubus who drags him to hell, for example). It is all this and the general polish of the game that make Sacra Terra: Angelic Night stand out as a highlight of the genre.. A HOG where you get to capture the 7 deadly sins. That's got to be worth something right? I enjoyed it and would recomend it to anyone.. Pretty decent HO game for the price, solid animations with decent scenes and puzzles.. I recommend this game if you're into point and clicks. This is keeping true to the genre, and therefore not much action is going on :-) The seven deadly sins has always been a topic that works on almost any media and Sacra Terra: Angelic Night is no exception. The story is good,the personification of the deadly sins I really liked! And it's a fairly long game for the point and click genre. At no point did I think it was getting trivial or predictable.
